Mooo Over, Koltin turned 1!

One of the best compliments a photographer can get is a phone call from a past bride and groom saying, we are having or had a baby, will you take the baby’s portraits?

Koltin turned 1-year-old last week, he went from being a little peanut, to a little boy with a quirky personality! Koltin had us in stitches! I love the innocent facial expressions, so candid and so ADORABLE! I had a blast photographing this little man and am looking forward to seeing him grow and learn.

Click to view slideshow.It’s that time of the year again! It’s our 2nd annual wedding wrap up. I love doing this for the last blog of 2011, it lets me re-live all of the weddings we were so fortunate to photograph. Check out these lovely couples and I also included some of my engagement sittings through out the year.

We have had a blast through out the year, sharing in your memories, and are very thankful you let us capture them for you and your families. This is a special time in your lives and we appreciate it greatly. We look forward to hearing how your life has progressed through the years. So many of our couples have started families of their own, bought homes, moved across the country or to another country. Every time I read or hear about another milestone in your lives, it makes me smile. I am happy for each and every one of you and look forward to working with you in the future!

Over 2011 we have photographed over 28 weddings, 4 preschools, a lot of family portraits and a huge array of instant candid events! We have had a busy 2011, but we are looking forward to an even busier 2012! We still have availability for 2012 weddings and events and are also booking 2013 dates!

We have been very busy elves this Holiday Season! We have been photographing Santa and children all over the valley! We have done awesome programs for Autism, Santa breakfasts’ and of course we haven’t forgotten those 4 legged furry friends! It has been a lot of fun and these past few weeks flew by so fast!

This is the time of year, we are so busy we forget why we do it! So take a deep breathe in and exhale, now remeber, this holiday season is for everyone! Remember to embrace this season, be thankful for what we all have and if your lifestyle can afford it, give to those who need a helping hand. This season is meant to be filled with joy, happiness and love!

What a Wonderful Wedding!

Click to view slideshow.On Friday November 4, Shannon Walsh and Robert Emert Jr were married at the Woodstone Country Club. This is my final wedding of 2011, and what a wedding it was!

The ceremony was in Woodstone’s beautiful lodge. Shannon and Rob recited their own vows, it was a beautiful touch! After the ceremony Mr and Mrs Emert Jr along with their families greeted every guest as they enter the cocktail hour. Then we proceed with our traditional family photographs. After that we went outside for some quick sunset photograph. Woodstone is a beautiful place, but to see it at sunset on a fall evening it’s phenomenal! Oh, did I mention the bridal party, what a terrific group of friends, not only were they a lot of fun to work with, they all were very special people in Shannon and Rob’s lives.

Once everyone was introduced in the reception, they had their first dance, then Rob’s Best”Man” Tara, gave a beautiful but funny toast. Then dinner was served, then the party began! Joe from Marlin DJ rock the party all night long. Along with the traditional activities of a wedding reception, Shannon and Rob did a comical male group dance and then the girls came back to show up the men! Rob’s dad did some singing and they had the funniest garter placement ever! The Best “Man’s” (Tara) mom caught the bouquet, then Tara’s boyfriend, Joe caught the garter! And Tara made sure her mom didn’t get out of the placement ceremony and Joe had us in tears! What a GREAT night! What a WONDERFUL wedding! A great way to end my wedding year!

Congratulations to Shannon and Robert Emert Jr! Congratulations to their families, you have two fabulous children that love each other so much! It truly was an evening to remember!

Bridal Shows All Month Long!

This past weekend, was one of te few weekends I had off! I got to spend 3 days in our home “camping out” with my family, cause of the lack of electricity. Thanks to our grill and our fireplace, we stayed warm and fed. 3 days with no electricity, really stinks, thanks to all the men and women and their families who helped return our electric. When our lights came on you would have thought it was Christmas morning! Anyway, enough about us roughing it, we have 5 bridal shows to talk about!

Our 1st show of the month is at Lower Macungie Community Center at 3450 Brookside Road in Macungie, PA from 12:00-4:00. Tickets are $6.00 or contact us and we will get you a ticket for FREE! There will be door prizes from every vendor and the grand prize is $1000.00 to spend at show vendor(s) of your choice! Pumpkins, and Waterfalls and Cars, OH MY!

On Thursday, we photographed Liz and John We ventured up to Bushkill Falls. Bushkill is beautiful we got some gorgeous shots along with some great exercise! It was a great day, and a great time time getting to know Liz and John better. Liz and John will be married on April 21,2012. We are looking forward to photographing your wedding!

On Saturday morning, we photographed Sheri and Mike, they will be married on October 5, 2012. Our photo shoot took place at Seiple Farms in Bath before they opened to the public. The Seiple family was so warm and welcoming and gave us free range of their farm. What a beautiful Autumn morning, the sun was out and gave a golden hue to Sheri and Mike photographs. I had a great time getting to know the both of you better! Can’t wait till your wedding, it will be amazing!

Saturday afternoon, Lauren and I met up with Terri and Donnie and Donnie’s Mustang. We went to my favorite place, Lochridge Furnace in Alburtis. We started off in the main parking lot with Donnie’s ride and walked through the park to get some really beautiful photographs. The day was overcast and helped soften the shadows. I first met Terri and Donnie back in 2010 for their wedding consult. Terri is one of the most well planned brides I’ve had. She has everything booked and finished, talk about stress free! Terri and Donnie will be married on October 13,2012 and let just say the Cake Boss and Jeff Gordan play an important part. I did bring an assistant along with me on Terri and Donnie’s shoot, she loves to photograph cars, Lauren did a great job, capturing the cool angle shots. Terri and Donnie’s teasers are a combination of mine and hers!

A Wedding, A Harley and A Pumpkin Patch!

Busy Weekend for Jenn Roberts Photography! On Thursday October 13, I had the pleasure of photographing Aaron Schoenk and Delny Leon. They had a small wedding at the Allentown Rose Garden with their close family and friends to witness the ceremony. Brenda Pun of Pun Nuptials presided over the ceremony. Mother Nature was on our side for this wedding, the rain stopped right before the ceremony and started up right after the photographs were finished!

After we finished up with the photographs, we proceed to Italiano Delight on Chestnut Street in Emmaus for an Italian Buffet! This was my 1st time there, the food is delicious! Aaron’s father gave a beautiful toast before the dinner and their wedding cake was severed as dessert.

It was such an emotional day! Congratulations Aaron and Delny Schoenk! Thank you for having us capture your memories! It was an honor!

On Saturday, I photographed two couples for their engagements albums. In the morning, I met up with Melissa Mundy and Tim Gutekunst at Loch Ridge Park in Alburtis. They will be married on June 15,2012 at Iron Lakes County Club. They were a great couple! Tim brought his Harley to include in the photographs, and Rosco and Penny were also included. It was a gorgeous fall day, the sun was just right in the sky and the wind at times gave the photographs some motion. This is a fun couple, can’t wait till their wedding, it should be a blast!

In the afternoon, I met up with Nicole Sarson and Elias Mourani at Amore Greenhouse. Another wonderful couple who will be married on October 6,2012 with their reception at Green Pond Country Club. We started off at the pumpkin patch, walked through Amore nature walk and took some awesome photographs in their corn maze. Again, the weather was windy, but the sky was so blue with the pictureque puffy clouds. Amore was a great place to work with! We did get to do a few shots on their tractor along with hay bales and mums. I had a great time with Nicole and Elias. I so can’t wait till their wedding, 2 beautiful people will equal a beautiful wedding and a the reception will be just as beautiful with the up lighting and music done by JDA Mobile!Click to view slideshow.

The Royal Taylor Wedding!

Click to view slideshow.On Saturday October 8, Laura Heffner and Thomas Taylor were married in New Tripoli. I met Laura and her brides maids at the Holiday Inn in Fogelsville where the were getting their hair and make-up done. Barb met up with the guys at Tom and Laura’s home. From the hotel, the girls hopped on a J&J Party Bus to get dressed at the church, Christ’s Church at Lowhill. Once the girls were ready, it was time for the royal event. The ceremony was beautiful, lots of tears of joy and a little laughter. It was a beautiful and moving ceremony!

Once the Ceremony was finished, we did our traditional family and bridal party shots inside the church, then we proceed outside to some gorgeous weather and beautiful scenery. Laura and Tom and their bridal party were wonderful to work with. We got some great shots and took full advantage of Laura’s cathedral length veil. The sun added some beautiful tones to the early fall sky. From there we proceed back to the Holiday in for their cocktail hour.

When it was time for the intros, the bridal party, dressed in boas, hats and canes walked into “New York, New York”, then did the chorus line. They danced their first dance, toasts were made, grace was said and dinner was severed. After dinner, Tony from Holiday Sounds rocked their reception. The dance floor was full all night long. Laura, Tom and their guests know how to PARTY! Barb and I had a wonderful time! It was a beautiful wedding and an evening to remember.

Thank you to the bridal party who gets credit for this blogs title, we heard the Taylor Royal Wedding in several toasts! Thank you Laura and Tom for allowing us to capture your memories on your royal wedding day, it was a pleasure!

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs. Thomas Taylor! Your two were the best to work with! Congratulations to their families, you have raised two wonderful people who were truly ment for one another. It was a beautiful day!

Fall in Love!

Click to view slideshow.On Saturday October 1st Shana Skirpak and Kyle Weiss were married in Easton. Sue and I met Shana at her parents home where she was getting ready for the day. Her mother did all the girl’s hair and make-up, they all looked beautiful! After we photographed pre-ceremony shots, a trolley took the bridal party to St. Jane’s R.C. Church and Shana was driven by a family friend in his classic car that was decked out in flowers and a Barbie Bride doll and a Ken Groom doll on a jet-ski.(This is how the couple met).

After a beautiful ceremony, we proceeded to The Grand Colonial in Hampton, New Jersey. What a beautiful place! We did photographs in their courtyard under grey skies. It was a small area but we had the opportunity to get some awesome shots. The bridal party was great to work with, we all had so much fun!

After the bridal party was introduced, Shana and Kyle had their first dance, followed by the bridal party dance. The Toasts were made and Mayor Sal said grace. The dance floor was open between each course. This group loved to dance! I honestly believe everyone who attended the wedding was up on the dance floor at least once. This reception rocked! Everyone had a super time!

Congratulations to Shana and Kyle Weiss! It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple. Congratulations to the Weiss and Skirpak families! Thank you for letting us take part in your wedding day. We loved capturing your cherished memories!

1st Weekend of Fall = Two Wonderful Weddings!

This weekend, Jenn Roberts Photography had the pleasure of photographing 2 beautiful weddings!

Rebecca Chmielowski and Timothy Wright recited their vows on September 24, 2011. Becky and Tim were married at St.Judes Church in Mountaintop and celebrated at Edgewood in the Pines in Drums, PA. Becky and Tim make a wonderful couple. They complimented each other so well. The ceremony was beautiful and included a bit of laughter! After the ceremony Becky and Tim’s family came together for some family photographs, then it was off to the reception. Edgewood in the Pines has marvelous grounds, but because of the drenching rain the night before, everything was flooded. We managed to get some beautiful photographs with a beautiful blue sky. The reception was SWEET! The hall was decorated with hints of orange and they brought in the colors of fall through out their decor. Their cake was 3 tiers of cupcakes on 3 silver stands. They were decorated with editable hearts, it was a beautiful display. Once the dancing got underway, a fall colored candy bar was revealed, complete with beautifully decorated chocolate dipped apples. Congratulations to Tim and Becky Wright and their families! Amanda and I Loved photographing the both of you!

Click to view slideshow.On Sunday the 25th of September Meagan Foulk and Kevin Edgar were married at St. Paul’s U.C.C. Church in Trexlertown. The day started out with Hair and makeup topped off by mimosa. Meagan, her mom and her bridesmaids they hopped in their limo and arrived at the church to get dressed. Again, another beautiful ceremony, (no matter how many weddings I do, I always love listening to the couples stories). After the ceremony Meagan and Kevin were ushered into an exit of bubbles. We photographed the family, then we headed to Lower Macungie Community Center for some photographs on their grounds. The humidity was turned up, but Meagan and Kevin’s bridal party was great, they we a super group to work with! Take note the girls dresses had pockets in and they were so excited! After the bridal party was introduced, we sat down to a wonderful meal, prepared by caterer who was a friend of the family. From there, everyone danced the night away. It was a great time! Congratulations to Meagan and Kevin Edgar! Congratulations to there families, it was a beautiful wedding, we were honored to capture your memories!
